Citations for Grief and Revolt: From Venezuela to Minnesota and beyond
This week’s research post is a media round up. It catches me up on citations and information. Trying to see through this delusional media, news and state propaganda landscape to learn more about Renee Nicole Good, what is happening in Minnesota, in Venezuela (and by extension the U.S. colony that is Puerto Rico where folks are seeing military presence explode upwards) and beyond is hard. The community offering is also still being sculpted, but hoping to unleash it around the same time so you can follow along as I teach about African/Black life during the period of slavery and diaspora. We are not new to this, we know empire in our bones and blood. And we know how to fight. Looking forward to revisiting the lessons our ancestors left us over this winter to spring weeks.
